The Ormer Under 13 squad took some time off from training to participate in the Everest Challenge and raise some cash for Le Murier School. The aim of the climb is to help fund Le Murier school’s residential education programme to provide all of their students with as many residential experiences as practically possible, thus enabling them to gain the skills necessary to become valued members of our community.
The Ormers were proud to play their part in contributing to the continued success of Le Murier School and raised over £300 in the process. However I would be the first to admit that some of them are far better on the football pitch than the climbing wall.
Next year we might even get the Chairman of Ormer FC to make his way up the wall!
